About Madison Area Social Science Research Program

The Madison Area Social Science Research Program is designed to help high school students interested in the social sciences find internships with UW Madison Professors. There are currently internships available in psychology, political science and sociology. All high school students are eligible to apply, and if chosen, will meet with a potential professor to be matched with. Matches are made based on the student application (found on the admissions page) and a meeting with the professor. Students and professors will also be matched based on the time commitment that they each would like over the summer.
